Hey! Im Katelyn, mom to the #crumblycrew! In a quest to take out some needless grains from our diet we started making our cookies with some nutrient dense almond and coconut flour! (if you have a nut allergy you can also substitute sunflower seed flour). This recipe is originally from texanarin.com. Our only adaptation that was not featured in the video is the sunflower substitute and also as of recently we like to add 2 tablespoons of manly syrup as it gives a really amazing sweet chewy consistence. It all depends on your family’s needs! Don’t be afraid of coconut sugar either, its so common now you can find it at Trader Joes and it’s proven to be a healthier option than over processed refined white and brown sugar! It’s pretty much all I use now!
